SNAGAJOB

When Snagajob asked for help increasing the number of job applicants in their database we noted the problem wasn't a shortage of job seekers, but a dearth of jobs for them to apply to. It made better business sense to focus their advertising to employers.

Small business and franchise owners work for themselves to get away from 40-hour work weeks. Instead they end up filling in for absent employees, working 70-hour work weeks. The managers I spoke to told me what they need most to be successful: reliable employees. This allows them to focus on the long-term success of the business instead of working the cash register when an employee doesn't show up on the busiest weekend of the year.

Communication Strategy: "By providing employees they can trust, Snagajob gives employers the time to do what they really care about."

My proudest contribution: Coming up with the Snagajob Airstream, a mobile hiring station that Snagajob can loan to employers who don't have the facilities in which to conduct interviews.

The CEO of Snagajob voted this presentation the best in class.
